Meet Betsey Johnson at Macy’s on State Street

Known for her ultra-quirky designs and laser-focus aesthetic, Betsy Johnson has become an icon in the fashion industry. On April 7th, Johnson will be making an appearance at the Macy’s on State Street for meet and greets with shoppers.

The designer will be joined by celebrity gossip blogger, Micah Jesse. The line opens at 5:30 p.m. on the fourth floor in the Women’s Shoes Department. Guests in line have the opportunity to get their photo taken with Johnson as well as the chance to receive free Betsey Johnson merchandise. Guests who spend over fifty dollars will receive a complimentary tote bag and gift.

Betsy who?

Betsey Johnson is an American designer who is best known for her quirky and whimsical designs. She got her career start when she entered and won the Guest Editor contest for Mademoiselle. Within a year she became the in-house designer for a Manhattan boutique. In 1978, Johnson launched her own line and has since been a large influencer in the fashion industry.
